If I catch a butterfly
I will engulf her in my hands
Leaving just enough space for light and air
I will stifle her movement,
Her right to choose
I will forget about her
Until I need to see her beauty
Then, one day, I will set her free
So this other creature will know
How it feels to be plain old me
